2.Security control measures
Kyushu Railway has taken the following measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage and to otherwise manage personal information appropriately.
Establishment of rules for the handling of personal information
・Rules (Regulations for the Handling of Personal Information) concerning the handling of personal information will be formulated for each stage of acquisition, use, storage, provision, and deletion/disposal, etc., with regard to the acquisition method, personnel in charge and their duties, etc.

・We will appoint persons responsible for the handling of personal information (information security officer).
・We will clearly specify employees responsible for the handling of personal information and the scope of personal information they are to handle.
・We will establish a reporting system to report incidences where any violation or sign of a violation of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or internal regulations is identified.
・We will conduct self-inspections and audits performed by the audit department to assess the handling of personal information on a regular basis.

・Information concerning the appropriate handling and management of personal information by employees will be set forth in internal regulations.

Physical security control measures
・Access to areas by employees where personal information is handled will be controlled, devices that can be brought into such areas will be restricted and measures will be implemented to prevent unauthorized personnel from viewing personal information.
・We will implement measures to prevent theft or loss of equipment, electronic media and documents that are used to handle personal information, and take measures to prevent personal information from being easily identified when transporting said equipment and electronic media, etc. within business premises.
Technical security control measures
・Access restrictions will be implemented to limit personnel and the scope of personal information they can handle.
